Goal
Approach
Utilize the value investment approach to invest in companies that have a significant margin of safety between their market cap and their intrinsic economic value. A long-term perspective enables the fund to invest in deep value situations and prolonged growth stories.
Focus
The fund specializes in Israeli stocks, but seizes opportunities also in other geographies and assets. The fund focuses on a small number of positions affording the best upside potential while maintaining a minimal risk of permanent loss. The fund is mainly long, but uses some short hedges at the appropriate times.
Partnership
In order to align the interests of the fund’s managing partner with those of the rest of the partners, most of his net worth is invested in the fund. Furthermore, his compensation does not include a flat management fee and is based solely on the fund’s long term return.
Transparency
